The Golden Hour
The Golden Hour
An hour or so before the sun sets the rays of sunlight streak across the fields. I
t's one of my favorite kinds of light. It is sunset's gorgeous preamble- the golden hour.

Many thanks to my lovely and
talented model Nina Pavan!

I hope this inspires you all to go out and search for the light that is bright and beautiful!

15 Photos- 2 Models, 4 Locations.

The Biltmore, Black Mountain and Montreat, NC.

I took these Tuesday and Wednesday while
I was in the beautiful North Carolina.
For these shoots I went with more of a unique, stylistic perspective. I took wide angle shots to create more open spaces and kept the entire picture in focus. I also wanted my models, the fabulous Annaliese and Eleanna, to have a broader range of expressions so as to create different moments and visual emotions.

I'm excited to show this side of my photography
and I hope you enjoyed looking at these photos
as much as I enjoyed taking them!

from North Carolina,

Wishing For Spring!

This has been the most perplexing beginning to Spring I can remember. One minute beautifully warm weather the next it's snowing. I'm thinking maybe Spring needs some encouragement to hurry up and get here. So I put together a bunch of happy Spring and Summer photos...

maybe it will give you a little encouragement too!

 From the ground up!

In the water!

"The Lord will guide you always... you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails." -Isaiah 58:11

In the garden!

It's incredible to me that this...

 turns into this!

In the trees!

Rescued a baby bird from our cat!
So sweet!

In the streets!

In the house!

On the porch!

Dear Spring,
Please come soon!

Fondly,
Susannah Flautt Photography
...and everyone in the South!
