I took these Tuesday and Wednesday while I was in the beautiful North Carolina.
For these shoots I went with more of a unique, stylistic perspective. I took wide angle shots to create more open spaces and kept the entire picture in focus. I also wanted my models, the fabulous Annaliese and Eleanna, to have a broader range of expressions so as to create different moments and visual emotions.
In a secret spot off the path in the Azalea Garden at The Biltmore Mansion.
Down the creek a-ways at Montreat.
Black Mountain. Not-just-another-wall.
Black Mountain. A window through the ivy.
I'm excited to show this side of my photography and I hope you enjoyed looking at these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
has been the most perplexing beginning to Spring I can remember. One minute
beautifully warm weather the next it's snowing. I'm thinking maybe Spring needs some
encouragement to hurry up and get here. So I put together a bunch of happy
Spring and Summer photos...
maybe it will give you a little encouragement too!

"The Lord will guide you always... you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails." -Isaiah 58:11
In the garden!
It's incredible to me that this... turns into this! In the trees!
Rescued a baby bird from our cat!
In the streets!
