~Spontaneous photo shoot~
  on the streets of Charleviox!

Goodness, you never know when a perfect photo shoot opportunity will happen! I didn't set out to take a photo shoot today nor did Eleanna dress for one. We were just walking the streets of the beautiful Charlevoix. Of course we had to stop for coffee at Johann's Cafe. As we sat there, talking and people watching, I realized the setting and lighting were perfect! And of course, because Eleanna is a fabulous model, she switch right into model mode. All of these were taken today, spur of the moment. I did editing on only one of them. The rest have no editing.

Here's how they turned out!

And we had LOTS of
fun doing it too!

**Thank you and major props to Eleanna for being my model! I love working with you!**

Surprise visits... Photo opt!

Warning: Your adorableness might end up on my blog.

My sister Hannah stops by our house through out the week for any number of reasons. It's so great she lives close by and can do that!  The other day when she came over it was such a gorgeous day, plus our rose bushed were in full bloom, so we decided to go outside in the garden...

How could I resist?!

 So precious!

Vintage Hats...

Photo Shoot Opportunity!!!

My friend Sarah stumbled upon an amazing find: 40 Vintage hats for a ridiculously low price. OF COURSE she couldn't resist!
She invited me and a few other friends to come over, have some tea and dig through/try on all these great hats. Sarah also asked me to bring my camera to take some pictures.
Off I went for a day of fun with friends.
We decided to each pick hats we'd wear for some pictures outside. But... in a moment of total photographers stupidity, I had forgotten my camera.

 ...WHO DOES THAT?!!
What's a photographer to do?

Thankfully my sister Eleanna had her little Canon SD1300 IS digital camera with her which she let me use to take the following pictures.
Crisis averted!

Behind the scenes.

Sometimes its fun for a photographer to get in front of the camera. :) Thanks Eleanna for taking these pictures!

 ~Me~

So despite having to recover from my photographer's blunder and improvise with someone else's graciously lent camera, I still got to: do mini photo shoots, play with Vintage hats, have a tea party, and all around have a lot of fun with great friends. I'd say the day was a success! :)

Thank you Sarah for making it such a fun day! :)

Daffodil Smiles

I had the wonderful joy of getting to take pictures of my little niece Bella! She's such a cutie! :)

I had a lot of fun with this one!

~Daffodils are a great way to get pictures of children in the Spring. Colorful and full of new life, they are also close to the ground, just like the precious little kidos. Plus you can find Daffodils just about anywhere you look so it makes for an easy location.

~With children I normally have to take more pictures then normal because they are always moving and aren't as predictable. But I've found this isn't a bad thing. It makes for some cute pictures!

Little bloopers! After this picture she decided
she didn't like the taste of daffodils. :)
